Watched James Garner as Bret Maverick today in episode Shady Deal at Sunny Acres. Starts with a corrupt banker, John Dehner (Col. Harvey), and unsuspecting town folks; Johnathan Hole (Orville Monroe, funeral director and TV repairman), J. Pat O'Malley (Oscar Fields, who's pooling his resources with Barney's landlord-lady), Leo Gordon (Luke Comstock arrives just in time for the Knot Tying Club) and Karl Swenson (Mr. McBeevee, if you can believe in him). It was a true TAGS filled show not set in Mayberry.
