Over the Independence Day holiday I had a real Mayberry experience. My husband is a musician, so I attended the concert in the park where he played. By the end of the concert it was "under the stars". However, they did not wear uniforms or play off-key like the Mayberry town band. The band was set up in a gazebo, but I did not see a lot of spiders around.
When they did the military salute to the various branches, I thought about the times that the armed services were mentioned on TAGS. However, the topper was when one of songs was "Believe Me If All Those Endearing Young Charms". If only Rafe would have been there to sing along.
