In watching an old rerun of My Three Sons, I suddenly realized that the
father was waiting at the bus stop right across from our church and in
front of the drugstore where Andy and family returned from Hollywood way
back when. It was so fun seeing it again with different characters.
I also ran into two fellow Mayberrians recently at different store
parking lots; they admired my bumper stickers and said they'd rather be
in Mayberry too! Both had visited Mt. Airy and were very familiar with
things; I felt proud.
