Elizabeth - aren't you the clever one to notice that. I wonder what was written in the scripts? Would different writers make their episodes more or less formal? Would that get edited in the read-thru? I recall the story where Ron Howard remembered the day he finally had one of his script suggestions accepted and Don Knotts told him (words to the effect) "that was the first one that was ever worth a "darn!"
