Martha, I know what you mean about the Dipsy Doodle getting into your head. Since I am a musician, I just had to study on this and found some answers. It was written by Chick Webb and Ella Fitzgerald during the big band Era. If you look this up on youtube, you will hear it and apparently there is a dance that goes with it. There is a room full of dancers all doing the same dance. The intro is kinda long so hang in and you will hear it sung. This is the title on youtube: Chick Webb Night at Lindy Focus 2016. So put down the flower vase 'cause you don't need a partner to dance to this.
