You did some impressive detective work down there in Siler City. Just wondering if some of the things I have read about Frances Bavier a/k/a Aunt Bee were true: that at first she really enjoyed her time there, and I think even was the Grand Marshall of a big parade. But eventually, she stopped going to the grocery store and other places because she got tired of people constantly make joking comments about her role in TAGS, like asking her if she made any pickles lately, etc.
Then, people started going to her house, peeking in the windows, etc. to the point where she shut herself off in the back of the house with her cats and closed all the curtains. She totally stopped going out and had everything delivered. When Andy and Ron Howard went to visit her once, she did not let them in and basically closed the door on them.
