Still a work in progress with familiar events being updated and new ones created so people are able to come and safely enjoy the fun. The Surry Arts Council is following the ever changing guidelines from the Governor (who is a TAGS fan) so what you see online today will evolve. The website was just updated with new Mayberry Paints! classes. Held daily, you can sign up and paint a different Mayberry inspired scene led by the SAC Artistic Director. Participants will get to see an exclusive video from Betty Lynn telling about her early career in the visual arts (which is the inspiration for one of the paintings). The new SAC Arts Studio is not large and class size is limited (social distancing), so sign up early to get a spot.
