Been enjoying all the trained noticin' and alumni sightings and funny posts the past few weeks. Got a pleasant surprise alumni sighting this morning, watching a 1958 episode of the Burns & Allen show, which is one of my other favorites. And there was "Floyd" (Howared McNear) playing Mr. Jantzen, a widowed plumber with 4 daughters, talking to Gracie. He was very much like Floyd's character - a great actor, and funny.
Also - at a stoplight yesterday, I chuckled when I saw the wording on the back of a pickup truck in front of me. The truck belonged to a small construction company owned by a guy named Mann. The tailgate had a phone number on it, with the words "Just Call The Mann!".
