I was talking to someone recently and the subject of TAGS came up. When I said TAGS was my favorite television show, he told me he was a big fan too. I mentioned that I really liked the episodes with the Darling family - he replied that he couldn't stand the Darlings and wouldn't watch those episodes. So I said I also really liked the episodes featuring Ernest T. Bass - he said he hated Ernest T. and couldn't watch those episodes either. Finally, I asked him about the Malcolm Merriweather episodes, which I also enjoy - same answer, he didn't like Malcolm at all and wouldn't watch those. I finally told him I didn't understand how he could say he was such a huge fan of TAGS when he really disliked so many classic episodes. So, was I right? Or did I take too narrow of a view?
JOE from G.I. P.S. Saw only about 10 minutes of "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" today - the town meeting scene. Even in that brief time, there were 2 TAGS alumni in it - Henry the jinx, and Briscoe Darling.
