I enjoyed the great article about the history of TAGSRWC last week - and a good question about how Barney got to Quiet Sam's place.
As a curious noticer, I'm wondering why they changed the house the Taylors lived in after the first episode. The driveway where Andy is washing the car is on the left side of the house; in all the rest of the shows it's on the right. And, in the background on the driveway shots, there is no house next door - looks like a railing going up into a park or yard?? Interesting. (not to mention why the decision was made to get rid of Andy's pick-up truck in that first episode, leaving the squad car as the way for everybody to get around).
