Sorry to hear about the mental condition. I hope she didn't go around hitting people with a ruler. Maybe she was a mother figure to some outlaw. In any event, it would explain why she became a teacher in Mayberry. I should know as I was a teacher for 35 years, and my wife often thought I had mental issues.
