Hey Everyone,

I have a client who has some knowledge of web design. He has a concern that
search engines spiders will be side-tracked by javascript on his site thus
damaging his search engine results position. He keeps wanting to eliminate
all JS from his site, and is also concerned that the search function on his
site (free Google) will be a problem. I contend that the search engine
spiders can detect the javascript tag, know that it has no value for them,
and just skip over the script. Can anyone verify this or tell me what the
reality is?

TIA
