This is what got me interested - if anything, Macromedia products are
developed on and for the Mac first and then ported to the PC.

And also, if you use the Flash detect script written by Macromedia
(Aftershock is obsolete now, but if you can find it it's still *really*
useful) it's cross-platform and cross-browser.
