Sonja, it is a pain but put it in the <td> for straight tables not the
<tr>, ie <td valign="top">. If you are only doing it for a few that should
make it work, it ain't pretty that is the quick fix.
For CSS what browsers are you trying to get it work in?
Another suggestion, which I am not sure about for css compatability cross
browsers, but again a quick fix:
tr,td { margin-top: 0; }
or [your class] { text:-align: [value]; }
permissible [values] in CSS1 are : sub, super, top, middle, bottom,
text-top, text-bottom, baseline.
Again not sure of the full support.
You were on the right track, but wrong syntax I think [ far too late at
night/morning here :-)
I think that should work?
