Can any IE5 users (Win and Mac) test the following out for me?

The blocks:
The green block is our required size box (300 x 50). The red block is
our
test for the box model, being rendered larger than green if the box
model is
correct. The blue block is our IE5 test for the escape character parsing
bug
used in Perry's hack.

IE5/Win should render all three blocks the same size.

IE5/Mac should render red bigger than green. If the parsing bug exists,
blue
should be the same size as red. Hopefully blue will render the same as
green, which means that the incorrect dimensions were corrected through
the
hacked re-definition.

IE6, NN6.2, NN7 and Opera 6 all perform as expected (green and blue the
same
with red bigger). Can somebody have a look at Opera 5 too?

Tim:
These are all on a Win98SE platform:

 - IE 5.50.4134.0600: green, red and blue blocks are all the same size.

 - Opera 5.12, build 932: green block is smaller than red block, blue
block is nowhere to be seen; the Lycos ad was all over the place and
never went away

 - Opera 6.01, build 1039: green and blue blocks are same width, red
block is wider and taller.

Sorry, I don't have a Mac. I know someone who does, if you can't find
anyone else to verify operation on a Mac. FWIW, the Lycos ad server was
dog-slow; most of these pages took several minutes to finish loading
over a T1 connection. :-)
