In my (mercifully) limited experience with PPt files on the web, it took up mega, mega space. I might have had an unusually big presentation but, when you save to web file, all saves all sorts of config files are created so that the navigation within ppt works. When I had to deal with it - it took up 7/8 of the customer's allocated space.
