Currently if you have any software that is free and part of the GAIN network (Gator Blah blah) there are two (or more depending on which software version or provider ... Grokster/Morpheous).exe files that run in the background that can do this and ZoneAlram will not stop it. I have found that the exe's actually are updated from time to time when you use the app changing port references and paths allowing pop-ups and "new" javascript browser windows even with standard firewall security in place with traditional ports closed. You should use and try "ZERO POPUP" @ http://www.tooto.com/help.htm it works wonders and has its own settings.
