>>This is an outstanding graphics program that can do anything that
Photoshop can<<

Perry,

I've never used Micrografx Picture Publisher, so right off I now I'm not
qualified to be a partial judge, but this seems to fall under the "too
good to be true" category.

Can you tell me if Picture Publisher supports the following:

Layers

Layer Opacity

Layer Styles (drop shadow, inner shadow, outer glow, inner glow, bevel
and emboss, satin, color overlay, pattern overlay, stroke)

History (Undo back to 20 steps)

Actions (import, export, save, record frequently used processes, and
recall then with a sinlge key stroke.)

Color Seperation (edit Cyans, Magentas, Yellows, and Blacks independtly)

Channels (blend layers & colors seemlesly to make new images)

Masks (edit selections w/o needing to create channels)

Filters (Too many to list, but the main ones I use are Sharpen,
Despeckle, Ligting Effects, Liquify, and Blur)

Clone (Take parts of an image from one section and 'clone' it onto other
parts at varing opacities)

Heal (in 7.0+ only) Like clone only it copies texture only, not
lighting.

Text Effects (6.0+ only) manipulate text to make it look how ever the
heck you want. (Text before 6.0 was plain cruddy in PhotoShop)

Support up to resolutions of 3000 DPI (although I never go higher then
300.)

These are just the features that I use on a regualr basis, and I know
there are many of which I am not even aware. If Micrografx Picture
Publisher CAN do all of these then I'll need to look into it, but I've a
hunch that for 60 quid something is going to be missing.

Casey
