How's that Celtic Tiger doing? Still romping the countryside (excluding parts of the west)? The US economy feels similar to right before the big housing crash of the mid-80's--lots of layoffs, lots of inexplicable building of huge houses. We'll see. I continue to work part time on an AmeriCorps position. The organization for whom I work would like to hire me directly for next year, for fewer hours, I hope. I'm finding almost half time too many hours, am tired and crabby almost all the time. It feels very like pre-disability full time used to. My sweetie and I are studying Irish, if you can believe that. We're doing first level for the second time, as do most people here. It takes about a year before you stop being stunned by the lenitions and eclipses. Yikes. It's incredibly cold here, winter's set in already. 5 degrees Centigrade today. I know that because the Note Tab Lite I downloaded today has a temperature conversion thingie right on the margin of the window. I see the Euro's keeping pace with the dollar nicely. I knew I should have bought some when they were new. Hope you workload develops a nice rhthym to it. Keep that Tiger awake.
