Hi,
I got a little bit of help yesterday and the day before on this search
thing I'm trying to figure out. I made some progress, but things still
aren't right. Here is the url: http://www.puterbug.com/search.html of the
search page. Try a word like "rates" ... it finds all kinds of apache stuff.
I'm considering this progress since before it wouldn't search at all.
Try the word "billing" I get an index link and when clicking the index link
I get my own 404 page .. but when I look at the bottom of the browser in
the status bar it indicates this index is a "suspended" page. Since the word
"billing" is included in a *blocked* folder I'm guessing this is why I'm seeing
this, which really is not good. The instructions say that entries in the
*blocked*
field aren't supposed to show up in any search.
A word like "design" brings up all kinds of apache stuff. I'm only guess here,
but something tells me I've got a path problem ... yet I can't figure out what
it is, have tried various configs of same.
I'd really like to understand the problem here and get this done so I can
move on ... I got plenty of other things to do but play w/cgi for three
solid days!
