Hi,
Got a problem .. have a form for web hosting that is supposed to produce
and autoresponder. The autoresponder is in place. Problem is, testing
shows that the autoresponder isn't going out. I checked w/my tech support
and this is what they told me (I'll leave the long header out, if someone
wants to see it I'll email it to you as it's pretty long).
===================================
I added myself to the forwarding list and submitted the form and here are
the headers of the email that I received:
Therefore the autoresponse is going to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Since the
php script runs as the user 'nobody' there is no way around this. Therefore
autoresponders from form results will not work unless you can find a way to
change the 'return path' field which I don't believe is possible since it
is the form that actually sent the email to the autoresponder and not the
client's email address.
We can investigate this possibility if you wish, but you would have to
authorize charges for us to do so since this would be outside of free
technical support.
===================================
Any php gurus out there have an answer for this? Our php person is in the
baby steps phase of her php career so she doesn't now how to fix this.
Thank you,
Deb
