Hi Michael, > I want to use a macron accent on an upper and lower case 'o'. Neither the > ISO-1 Latin Character set '¯' or '¯' work for me, never had > problems with other accents [ acute grave umlaut etc..].
http://evolt.org/entities shows that's the right code for a macron, but it doesn't have a letter underneath it - at least, not in IE6/Win2k. I notice that dictionary.com uses images for these: http://cache.dictionary.com/dictionary/graphics/AHD4/GIF/omacr.gif (look up "food", for example) - If this is good enough for you it might be an easy way out :-) Cheers Jon ____ The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM ____ To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To change subscription settings to the wdvltalk digest version: http://wdvl.internet.com/WDVL/Forum/#sub ________________ http://www.wdvl.com _______________________ You are currently subscribed to wdvltalk as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
