Maverick asked: Can any one tell me the profile of 01. Web Designer 02. Web Content Developer
And what is the main difference? Can one person perform these jobs? Tim: I'll hazard guesses for you. <grin> A "web designer" is going to be a person that does mostly artistic design-related work: graphics layouts, colors and choices; menu layout, etc. - the overall "look and feel" of the site. Chances are they won't be involved in coding much. A "web content developer" would be a person responsible for providing content for various web pages, once the design work was complete. This could be either a static or dynamic job - static meaning the content could all be planned and implemented before the site is released, dynamic meaning there would be some method of updating content on a day-to-day basis, either directly with some sort of content management software or perhaps through updates to a database. One person can certainly perform both jobs - I do. I'm called a "web developer" - which loosely translates "I do anything remotely related to any company webs since I'm the only programmer here" along with "I do just about *anything* code-related since I'm the only programmer here". :-) Tim ___________________________ Tim Furry Web Developer Foulston Siefkin LLP ____ The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM ____ To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To change subscription settings to the wdvltalk digest version: http://wdvl.internet.com/WDVL/Forum/#sub ________________ http://www.wdvl.com _______________________ You are currently subscribed to wdvltalk as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
