Maybe the settings prevent overwriting until a period of waiting time.

Subject: [wdvltalk] DW ftp

Hi,

I'm probably missing something really simple here but I can't figure it
out.
I built the site and uploaded w/ DWMX, redesigned it and now can't
upload
it. Well almost.

If the host directory is /htdocs (which it is supposed to be and the
setting
it was before when things uploaded) then I receive a 550 error message
saying the folder can't be opened.
If I remove the /htdocs the test connections are successful and I can
upload files, but they are on the same level as /htdocs. Just sitting
there
waiting for someone to invite them in for tea...who knows..

I've played around with the passive ftp and dis/enabling the firewall to
no
avail. I've checked Macromedia and there's nothing there, at least no
apparent answers for this problem.

Seems to me it should just be a simple matter of permissions (but why
they
would change is beyond me) but my isp has run tests and they say things
are
fine on their end.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Larry
