Usually I have a face to face meeting but that may not always be practical especially if the client isn't local. I have a "Planning Your Website" page on my site that I did as part of an Internet 101 series for the local Chamber of Commerce that has some of the items I cover in the meeting. It was based on the planning/proposal I use when meeting clients. Which is then incorporated into the contract with my client as the site specifications. My actual planning/proposal document is a bit more detailed but the presentation may give you ideas. http://wiserways.com/articles/planningyoursite.htm

Do you have a face-to-face meeting with the client? What questions do you ask? What information should be found-out about the job? Do I then go away and draw up a quote? or a quote and a proposal? Any help would be wonderful, thanks. ____ The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM ____ To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To change subscription settings to the wdvltalk digest version: http://wdvl.internet.com/WDVL/Forum/#sub ________________ http://www.wdvl.com _______________________ You are currently subscribed to wdvltalk as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
