Hi all, I have written a small php script which pulls email addresses (about 1000) from my online db and sends a small html email newsletter (this is not spam but a weekly member update). Normally, I would not worry about having enough time to loop 1000 times through a section of a script. However, since this must connect to sendmail each time through, I am concerned because there is a 30 second serverside script timeout.
Questions: 1) should I be concerned about a timeout, or does connecting to sendmail not affect the run speed of the loop 2) this is on a remote shared webserver on which I only have access to my domain via telnet. Is there a way to view sendmail logs to see if everything went?
