Change that. I installed PN_phpBB_14 and it seems to be acting ok. I can see it in the Modules section as PN_phpBB_14. I also initialised and activated it. The only problem is that I'm unable to follow along with this set of instructions:
2.3.3. Go to Phoenix Administration panel. Select the phpBB_14 link. Click on 'Sync forum/topic index'. This will sync the list of users in PostNuke and phpBB_14. Click on the 'Forum Wide Options' link . Click on 'Restore defaults'. This will set parameters for phpBB_14 I'm assuming when they say "Go to Phoenix Administration panel", they mean the pn admin panel because I don't see this after initialising and aactivating PN_phpBB_14. I don't have any users in my pn site at the so I'm not sure if this even applies. I'm also logged in as the administrator so am I missing something here? Any responses are appreciated. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of marvc Sent: Tuesday, June 24, 2003 12:10 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [WDG] Possible OT: phpBB Install question... I'm hosting the server so I have the necessary access to upload and install. I unzipped the files using unzip phpBB_14.... And I have the directories/files html/modules/phpBB_14 & Html/includes in the correct locations on the server. I did download the zip to the modules directory from my XP box via a samba share that I have set up to the server. So do I need to get rid of the html folder and just maintain the modules & includes folders? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Spadata Sent: Tuesday, June 24, 2003 11:29 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [WDG] Possible OT: phpBB Install question... trying to translate "linux-talk" into "window-speak" is fun when you first get started. With JAR and GZ files, "mounting" drives and the rest of the old UNIX treminology - if you're used to windows, it does get confusing. When you first unzip/untar pnphpbb14 it breaks down to: PN_phpBB_14 ......PN_phpBB_14 ............html ...............includes *** ...............modules *** ...................phpBB_14 ......................etc etc What I do (windows minded) I have it all unzipped on my local drive (The next part is if you can "Batch Upload") Using WS_FTP Pro I go to the PostNuke website to the root of PN (where index.php is) I "batch upload" the "includes" folder and the "modules" folder - all the files will be placed in the proper locations. If your ftp programs doesn't allow "batch Uploads" (let me know) you have to do it the hard way. This is why I bought WS_FTP Pro --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
