Hi guys,

I am building an online application/questionaire type form that writes the
information to a database. The question form itself is to be quite lengthy.

My question is, is it perfectly acceptable for me to setup my database with
just one (large) table? The data will consist of a person's details such as
name, address, etc and then just various peices of information that really
don't have any other relationship with each other, other than a 1 to 1
relationship with the person.

Down the track there will be some reporting requirements on the data once it
is collected.

I feel that I should be trying to divide the data into different tables, as
one great big whopping table doesn't sound ideal, but I'm struggling to
think of reasons why I should!

Can any of you database gurus give me some advice?

Thanks

Heath
