Although if you're conforming to XHTML this is not
allowed (no design-based markup allowed in HTML). I
personally use the following CSS:

img {
   border: 0px;
}

Which will apply to all images in your page. If you
want something a little more specific use a class
instead and apply that to your image:

.imglink {
   border: 0px;
}

<img class="imglink" src="myimg.gif" />
