With regard to the text being optically very active - I agree with you &
I've takign your suggestion & adjusted the white to a light grey :o)

the white lines...I played around with this & I've changed it to #CCCCCC
which isn't as much of a contrast :o)

I've made the bg graphic longer so if the user increases their font size the
imge still holds together.
