However much I hate to say it, Hotmail may be the best choice for what you
describe. As it's an HTTP mail system you can access your account using
Outlook or Outlook Express but, unlike POP3 accounts, you never actually
download anything to your machine - all the mail stays on the Hotmail
server.

I'm sure there are other HTTP mail systems out there to avoid Hotmail, but
I've not found one.

Alternatively, if you're using POP3 to access your mail, why don't you just
leave a copy of the mail on the server? Outlook has that option and you can
configure when you tell the server to remove the mails.
