I use this tool as one of many toolbox
then please go to google and type
real estate web designers #3 out of 235,000
real estate web site designers #1 out of 175,000
real estate web programmers #1 out of 80,600
real estate web site programming #2 out of 515,000
real estate website programmers #1 out of 41,900
real estate web site programmers # 1 out of 64,000
and more to see that we, my company, is #1,2 or #3 for these any many, many
more keyword terms. Then look at the top blue bar to see how many others
came up. The search engines work just as a computer. All results are based
on a binary mathematical algorithm. There are no mysteries or secrets. So
if you do the math you will succeed.
If you specialize in an industry then use that to narrow your search. I mean
if a client is searching for web designers he gets 6,850,000 results. So if
he is searching for real estate web designers it narrows the search down.
example you are looking for strawberry ice cream and type ice cream then you
have to look through all the results until you find the exact match. So
narrowing your search toan industry specific search will get you to the
sites you are looking for. If you type strawberry ice cream the ice cream
store will have less traffic but more qualified results. Example you have an
ice cream store that does not sell strawberry ice cream but you get
thousands of hits because people are looking for ice cream. Is this
qualified traffic, of course not. I would rather have the qualified traffic
targeted to my site. In the end though we do all types of websites. ;) It
is just that being a real estate investor for 20 years and a former broker I
am quite familiar with the needs of this industry.
We also target other industries and types of web sites using the same method
outlioned above, It is an ongoing process, my firend and I do mean ongoing.
Do not fall for the "hidden secrets of the search engines" scam or Google
secrets revealed only xx amount $s.
There are no shortcuts in life. well, except for $s instead of dollars.
As Dave Navarro said, all it takes is patience and hard work. So if somebody
is trying to sell you keyword positioning you ask them where their site is
and most of the time you will not find the company.
It is just part of the diversity needed to survive and make money in our
business. Design, Programming, Hosting, Search Engine Marketing and more.
You must be a jack of all trades to master this game ;)
