This site allows you to upload your artwork and sell T-Shirts, coffee mugs, towels and tons of other products from their web site. They give you a base price for a product and you "add your profit" on top of it. They handle printing everything, shipping it, etc.
I'm in the process of setting up my store on it because of something a customer said to me... We did a logo design for his business and he wants some products to give away to his best customers. But he doesn't want to mess around with finding the stuff himself and he asked me to do it.
I thought it might be a great idea to set up a little store on CafePress with his logo that would allow him to buy products at his leisure and he LOVES the idea. In fact, I've pitched the same idea to several other clients who also LOVE the idea. They're all interested in buying products with their logos and stuff on them. I just create little "mini stores" within my store for each client and give them the URL to order products.
I pitched it today to my biggest client, a real estate office, and they're all ready to order stuff as gifts to their clients (like when a house closes).
I'm all excited, this too cool!
