Joseph, Until very recently you couldn't run more than on installation of IE on a Windows machine so don't feel like you missed something. It was a result of the Eolas decision that caused MS to release a "developer's build" for testing purposes of the crippled IE browser that provided the code to allow for multiple versions.
In the past multiple browser installations were limited to different browsers or multiple versions of non-IE browsers. I've run a couple of versions of NN and Opera along side IE and Mozilla for years. I probably shouldn't admit it but I haven't installed any version of IE other than the 6 I have that came with XP (fully patched and updated on everything.) Cheryl D. Then Andrew, your offer, gives me the chance to actually do it. I suppose this is the first time I have needed to get sophisticated with it!! ____ • The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM • ____ To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To set a personal password send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the words: "set WDVLTALK pw=yourpassword" in the body of the email.
