I was getting a lot of weird popups from IE, and I used Ad-Aware to locate and destroy them. Ad-Aware gets all of those type garbage. The popups were allowed contained in the cookies.

Hi Folks,
Every couple of days I get Norton warning about a virus on my machine
but somehow I think they're not valid, like they are popups coming from
the internet. I've done a virus scan and nothing showed up. My
definitions are up to date. The only things I have noticed that is out
of the ordinary is "RCPX1sp234.exe" is trying to access the internet but
I have it blocked by Zonealarm. I've searched my drive for this
programme so I could delete it but it can't be found. I've googled for
it but nothing shows up. I searched Norton.com & nothing shows up. Now it may be something innocent & I could be going down the wrong road
altogether but...
any advice would be appreciated.
tia jac.
