Stephen,

My needs were a bit different from the norm as I will be able to do all CC
transactions through the company I am selling product for, so I didn't need
to do the actual transactions. I did get a SSL for the store so that I can
safely collect CC information, but did not do the merchant account. I am
going to set up another separate business that I will need a merchant
account for in the next month or so, though, and I am 99% sure that I will
be going with Millenium.

Millenium was recommended by someone on the CandyPress forum. The person had
worked with them, and with Kent Stiritz in particular and strongly
recommended him. I have talked with Kent about setting up an account for the
next store, but other than an initial conversation I haven't taken it
anywhere yet.

One thing I would look for is the ability to keep your client from 'leaving'
your site to do the transaction. With an Authorize.Net gateway you can keep
them on your site the entire time without going to a 3rd party.

HTH,

Cheryl

I'm looking for a gateway right now, too... Have you used
mbankcard, Cheryl? I was following links off of
http://www.authorizenet.com/
and found these guys also:
https://www.e-onlinedata.com/authorizenet
who have a good deal[1] and a nice professional looking website
also (which always makes me feel better about using an online
service).

[1](from the link above)
*  NO Application Fee
* 2.29% VISA/MasterCard Qualified Discount Rate
* $0.30 Authorization Fee per transaction
* $10.00 Monthly Statement Fee includes 24/7 Customer Support
* $25.00 Monthly Processing Minimum*
* NO AVS Address Verification Fees
* NO Leasing or Multi-Year Contracts

Any personal experiences from anyone with either of the above?
If not, who are you using (please provide links).

Thanks,
Stephen
