Franni, I feel your pain. No, really, I feel your pain. ;-) I have been dealing with people screwing up the spelling of my last name all my life. I've gotten Glasco, Glascoe, Glassgo, Glasglow, etc. ad infinitum. It's gotten to the point where, when giving my name over the phone, I state it, then spell it, then follow with, "You know, as in Glasgow, Scotland, or Glasgow, Kentucky [note: I live in Cincinnati, Ohio], or Glasgow, Montana." Doesn't do any good; it's as if the listener has already decided how *they* want it spelled and damn it, that's the way it's going to be. So, my electricity bill, my phone bill, my insurance premium notice, etc. all come to my house with my name spelled differently. Bet it really amuses the hell out of the postman.
