Will, Yeah I know there's a problem with the header - I'm looking for another map to use as that one came with that awful dark blue bg & everything I try to modify the colur messes up the whole image. Also, I can't alter the logo as that was supplied with those colours. crap colours!

As usual, a great job! I think the blue for the main content is nice and tasteful; unfortunately it clashes with your header. The turtle logo has more green in it (change to the same blue or to a complimentary color like tan) and it fades into a darker blue than the rest of the webpage.
To make the color of the "sea" in the header image work, you may want to fade the intensity of the blue. If it were lightly coloring the background I think it would be okay. I would also do something about the intense orange land in the header. You may want to change the color to the red you use further down the page.
<disclaimer class="extreme_nitpicking"> Change the picture on the "Leatherback sighting" module on the right and remove the jellyfish. Having the jellyfish makes the text and background run together (which doesn't look good in my opinion) and it includes an element - the jellyfish - which has nothing to do with that section. </disclaimer>
Overall, it looks great.
