Here's my situation, I'm tearing out my hair:
if you look at the page http://www.crisafidesign.com/ppsa/arrrrgh.html you will see an expandable menu that I adopted from gazingus.org. The styles are included on the page for easy access/viewing.
Below this expandable menu is an image that depicts what the designer would like to see, i.e., each list item is contained inside a box. each box is the same width and all text aligns to the left. Right now, where i've set my background color, it only applies to the menu text and can't have a width set or padding...
Can anyone help me unravel this to create something that looks more or less like the image?
