Thanks a lot. I was able to run my iis server. I had to install the microsoft network adapter.

I have Windows 2000 advance server installed on a stand alone pc with no =
network. I have the iis server installed on hte machine. When i write=20 http:\\localhost\ in the address bar of the Internet explorer it says=20 page not found.
I am sure there is need of some dummy network to be installed on the=20 system so that it runs.
I have once configured it before too but don't remember how i did this.
Can u kindly tell me which of the harware installation will make it = work.
I am talking of the hardware as there is some virtual network needed to=20 run the iis server on the stand alone systems.
