Hi all, I have a question from a friend that I can't answer. She bought her mother a Compaq Armada 1700 Laptop for her birthday. They tried to install a printer (LexMark Z54) and it didn't work so they uninstalled the printer. When the computer restarted, the screen froze on the "updating configuration files" screen. They are not able to switch the computer off. Any ideas?
