I'm not really very far advanced from where you are, and I know how
difficult it looks until you pick up more knowledge.   What Jon says is
absolutely correct, of course.

But in the many discussions on browsers on this list it is still the case
that IE5 and IE6 dominate the viewer experience.   Which ones are important
after that depend on what type of surfer you are seeking.   I must say I
have always found IE easiest to use;   I have Firefox because it has just
been recommended as an aid in site design and building.    Opera has long
been recommended but I have never mastered it.

YOur site looks fine in all three of those browsers - when I refreshed in
firefox it came up the same as in the others, so it is working.   I do just
think it needs a bit of soft colour at the top, rather than being all grey.
If I have it correct web safe colours were about the early colour hardware
(cards and integrated).   These days I think even the cheapest system is
capable of handling the whole range.   Though I stand to be corrected !
(And I think we can leave Nescape 4 out of it, everyone ;-))
