You've hit the nail on the head - **if** it were possible to get one that was simply plug-&-play without having to train it, I'd have installed one years ago! I'm just tending to limit what I keyboard that's not specifically paid work at the moment - plus writing notes on Ye Olde Newton which always recognises my handwriting no matter how bad it gets!

You need to get one of those dictation programs that will let you use voice entry. FWIW, one of the big reasons I moved to the tablet pc platform is to be able to switch inputs between pen, keyboard and if I ever get around to training it, voice. I've been having quite a bit of swelling in a couple of the finger joints and right wrist. I find that changing up how I input helps a bit though on occasion it makes for some interesting posts when I haven't proof read carefully enough.
