There is a sudden upsurge in phishing/spoofing emails. I am Mr. Paranoid, Son of Mr. Cautiously Hostile, and yet even I have received phishy spoofy emails the last few days, one may have tricked even me, from "American Laboratories".
ALERT: This is phish, and possibly worm also: FROM: [EMAIL PROTECTED] SUBJECT: TKO Notice: Pay your fee... DELETE, do NOT OPEN all such dangerous or scam emails. If you receive any email from any service, and it looks legit, and you do have an account with them, DELETE it anyway, then go directly to the web site of the service, search any known scams, then conduct your business, once you're sure this is actually the legitimate web site of the service (PayPal, eBay, Amazon, etc.) Opening a spam email is the worst thing you could do, because it triggers tons more to be sent from same and others who buy spammable email lists from other spammers. Phish = pretend to be a legit service you have an account with, then asking for sensitive financial, personal, etc. information. Identity theft, improper credit card charges, etc. may then result. DELETE. Do NOT OPEN, even out of curiosity. OPEN---Bang! You got a virus, dummy.
