You're running XP right? Try a emptying your temporary folders cache and any
other temp folders you have. Then do a rollback to before the bratty program
appeared. If it is gone then, make sure you dump any restore points created
after it appeared so it won't be cached in one of them as well.

You are spot on that MyBar.dll is a devil to remove;  it clings tighter than
a limpet at sea.   Spybot, Ad-Aware, BHODemon and WinTasks have all failed
so far.   The entry in Add/Remove Progams has gone, but the search bar
lingers on.

Any other ideas?
