Hey, this may be interesting to you. I'd been told that Amazon sells Mac hardware a bit cheaper than the Apple Store and here's the skinny:

Apple Store: dual 2.5 G 512MB RAM(they wanted $4650 for 8gig ram!!!) 160GB HD NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL Dual 20" displays (lets be reasonable) Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard and Mouse -------- $6225
Amazon.com:
same specs as above, but no bluetooth, wireless keyboard or a way to specify the graphics card

$5593.98
1GB Apple RAM from Kingston x 8 -------- $2079.60 ($259.95 per gig)
So... it doesn't look like Amazon.com would really be too much cheaper after you added in the BlueTooth and wireless peripherals, but damned if you can't save a couple of bucks on the RAM (tgff [thank goodness for froogle]).
