Riva, I'm not sure you have a problem with it.
The brown gif is only 33kb and the yellow one must be less. It is a fairly small page altogether. The bg graphic looks fairly large though. You might try optimising them all a bit more, but I imagine you don't want to lower the quality. While I gave you my stop watch time from clicking the link I didn't feel it was slow at all.
