Okay... in SKEdit, apparently the host I have those sites on does
accept SFTP connections.  Tried it on a non-SFTP host and it was
denied.  Setting the Port to 21 didn't help either.  no dice there.

In Eclipse, if I go to:

Help > Software Updates > Find and Install > Search for new features
to install > Next
Check the Eclipse.org update site checkbox > Next
Check the "Eclipse FTP and WebDAV Support" box > Next
Accept EULA > Next
Finish
Install
... it does a bunch of stuff ...
Restart Workbench...

Golden.  Now you can go to File > Import and specify FTP as the source... 

Now... All that said, if you're making changes then uploading them to
the server to view them, this is a decidedly slower process than what
you'd go through in DW...  Can't really speak for BBEdit.
