That should work out for you. After seven years as a Delphi/Paradox/BDE1
developer with my former company, when we were purchased and merged, and
1200 folks hit the highway (including yours truly), I recognized the
unavoidable fact that Microsoft development technologies had about a 25 toratio of available positions compared to Borland Delphi jobs. So, I usedthelayoff period to return to Visual Studio Enterprise after all that timeandmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] orgot my MCP ticket. Within 6 weeks of receiving my certification I was working again, in the industry, so it does pay off. Good luck.

Some of you know me from the Social List, some of you might even remember me from a few years back when I used to be on this list.
I went off to be a nurse, but I've seen sense and I'm back in IT, just about to retrain as a Microsoft Bod, even though I run Linux only at home (it's a way back into the industry isn't it!) :p
Anyways, hopefully I can contribute and learn as I used to from this list and I'll try and help out where I can!
