Oh well, now it's obvious that i just scanned your code:-)

You could perhaps set the width on the div element with id="menu" in the css
code.  Or you coulod set the table width in the table declaration istelf, or
in the .css attributesd for the table element.  If you size all elements the
same way, with em or %, then things should scale well at different screen
resolutions.
